Dr. Nkwonta has been in active clinical practice for over 20 years. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and provides primary care services.
She completed her Internal Medicine Residency in 1997, at the New York Methodist Hospital, which is affiliated with the Weill Medical College of Cornell University. After her Residency training, Dr. Nkwonta worked with a large multi-specialty medical practice for 7 years, providing care to both ambulatory and hospitalized patients.
Dr. Nkwonta has been practicing in the Plainfield, New Jersey area since 2005. She is currently on staff at the John F. Kennedy University Medical Center in Edison, New Jersey.
Dr. Nkwonta is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is also a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. Fellowship in the American College of Physicians is a testament to her superior competence, professional integrity, and her dedication to her continued scholarship.
